The Carbon Zero Project focuses on accelerating the world's achievement of rapid decarbonization. Since the political will to act as quickly as needed is not here today yet in all countries, we are working now to build the tools & capabilities we'll have to have to cut emissions quickly when the political will is there and to increase the political will to act. It's necessary, long overdue, and urgent for our future, future generations, the global economy, and every enterprise.

TOOLS FOR FEDERAL EMISSIONS MANAGEMENT

Despite being a signatory to the Paris accord, like most governments, the US lacks the tools to measure economy-wide emissions, the impact of potential & actual policies on emissions, and the ability to track progress towards Net Zero. The time to build and test these tools is now, so that they will be ready when Congress is ready to take overall accountability for US emissions.

CARBON COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE & RISK MANAGEMENT FOR BOARDS AND CFOs

Enterprises of all scales are working on their approach to climate change and associated climate risk. Simple tools for boards and CFOs to define not only the direct impacts of climate change, but their financial exposure to emissions regulation are paramount. Early adopters and early adapters may develop carbon competitive advantage.
